Controlled Substance Prescribing Data by Condition

Ohio prescribers are required to include the diagnosis code on all controlled substance prescriptions per

4729-5-30 of Ohio Administrative Code.

The data are captured by the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy through the state’s prescription drug monitoring program, OARRS.

 

MED: the morphine equivalent dose

25th Percentile: ¼ prescriptions had a dose or days’ supply lower than this number

75th Percentile: ¾ prescriptions had a dose or days’ supply lower than this number
