Public Hearing Scheduled: Proposed PA Rules and Prescribing of Opioids for Subacute and Chronic Pain

Notice of September 26, 2018 Public Hearing

 

A public hearing on proposed rules will be conducted on September 26, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. in the Lobby Hearing Room, Rhodes State Office Tower, 30 E. Broad Street, 1st Floor, Columbus, OH 43215. Oral and written testimony may be presented by any person affected by the proposed rules.

 

Proposed physician assistant rules:

4730-2-04 Provisional period of physician-delegated prescriptive authority - To be rescinded

47302-04 Period of on-site supervision of physician-delegated prescriptive authority - New rule

4730-2-05 Certificate to prescribe - To be rescinded

4730-2-05 Addition of valid prescriber number after initial licensure - New rule

 

Proposed rules to regulate the prescribing of opioid analgesics for subacute and chronic pain:

4731-11-02 General Provisions - To be amended
