Failure of a student to submit an application for a preliminary education certificate to the medical board within the required timeframe shall invalidate the hours earned in that academic term from the total required of a student to qualify to sit for the Massage Therapy licensing exam.
The medical board requires that each Ohio Massage Therapy student receive a preliminary education certificate before entering Massage Therapy classes. The applicant shall have graduated from a high school or obtained the equivalent (GED), as determined by the Ohio Department of Education.
